Abstract

The implementation of social service by the Development Economics Department Student Association is an annual association activity that has a significant impact on the internal environment of the department and society. Baksos activities were carried out at the Bakti Ibu Puti Bungsu Foundation, Padang City, based on surveys and interviews that this orphanage was previously affected by a flash flood that occurred in early March 2024, which needed improvements and a helping hand from the surrounding community, so this was the target of this program. The aim of the baksos program is to provide enthusiasm to the residents of the Orphanage, increase students' enthusiasm for service to the community and implement sustainable economic development in the community. Baksos activities include setting up a reading center, planting mango tree seedlings and religious competitions.
