ANALISIS PENGARUH JUMLAH PENDUDUK, PERTUMBUHAN EKONOMI, INDEKS PEMBANGUNAN MANUSIA TERHADAP DISTRIBUSI PENDAPATAN DI KOTA PADANG TAHUN 1993-2022

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of population, economic growth and human development index on income distribution in Padang City from 1993-2022. This research uses secondary data in the form of time series data. This research analysis uses multiple linear regression analysis. the results of this research: 1) population size has a positive and significant effect on income distribution in the city of Padang with a significance of 0.000; 2) Economic growth has a positive and insignificant effect on income distribution in the city of Padang with a significance of 0.370; 3) the human development index has a positive and significant effect on income distribution in the city of Padang with a significance of 0.025.
